The ITL Network is a registered not-for-profit organization that supports Internationally Trained Lawyers (ITLs) and Internationally Trained Law Graduates (ITLGs) in Canada. We provide mentorship, professional development, networking opportunities, and resources to help members succeed at every stage of their legal careers. Our flagship event, the annual ITL Conference, brings together hundreds of ITLs and equity-seeking partners nationwide.

Our Revamped Mentorship Program matches members with experienced legal professionals who provide tailored guidance on licensing, career advancement, leadership, and building a sustainable practice. Mentorship can take the form of one-on-one guidance, group sessions, or workshops.

The ITL Conference is Canada’s national gathering for internationally trained lawyers, held annually in partnership with equity-seeking groups. It features impactful speakers, interactive sessions, and networking opportunities that bring together hundreds of ITLs from across the country.
